  1. What motivates you in your role as CEO?

Externally, I’m driven by the knowledge that MEI’s work touches nearly every aspect of people’s lives. As the Premier Leader in Industrial Solutions, we make a true difference in the world every day.

Internally, I’m motivated to preserve our culture and values, foster innovation, develop exceptional teams, and ensure every employee returns home safely to their family each day.

  1. What do you think makes MEI stand out compared to its competitors?

MEI brings a rare combination of technical depth and national scale. We have the reach, resources, and experience to take on even the most complex, multi-site projects – yet we remain agile enough to act as a true partner, not just a vendor.

  1. Recently, MEI re-branded. Can you explain why the re-brand was made?

Our former name, MEI Rigging & Crating, no longer told the full story. It left too much unsaid about the depth of our capabilities, from millwrighting and mechanical installation to industrial storage, turnkey logistics, and rigging. MEI Industrial Solutions better represents who we are today – and ensures our customers, partners, and employees alike understand what we bring to the table.

  1. MEI has recently made some acquisitions. Can you tell us more about these acquisitions and how they fit into your overall growth strategy?

We have been highly intentional with our acquisitions – each one aimed at deepening our capabilities, expanding geographic reach, or strengthening our bench of talent and leadership. Over the past 12 months, we’ve added companies in key markets across the Northeast, Texas, Tennessee, and the Carolinas, enhancing our ability to serve customers end-to-end, coast-to-coast.

  1. MEI serves a wide range of industries. Could you highlight some of the key industries you work with and the unique challenges and solutions you provide to them?

In data centers, we deliver end-to-end solutions for Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment—transport, storage, rigging, and install. In semiconductors, we handle sensitive tools under cleanroom protocols and help customers scale advanced manufacturing across the U.S. In life sciences and healthcare, our teams transport and install high-value medical and laboratory equipment with extreme care and precision.

Each industry presents unique challenges, but they all demand the same core strengths: technical excellence, disciplined execution, and a deep commitment to safety. That’s where MEI thrives.

  1. What are some of the most exciting projects on the horizon for MEI right now?

We’re kicking off some of the world’s largest data center projects in Texas and Louisiana, helping shape the future of digital infrastructure. We’re also deepening our partnership with Compass Datacenters to reimagine the supply chain behind faster, safer, large-scale data center delivery.

  1. Where do you see the most opportunity for MEI to innovate and differentiate in the market?

The biggest opportunity is in end-to-end integration. Most customers are still stitching together multiple vendors to manage logistics, storage, rigging, and installation. We’re bringing all of that under one roof, and investing in the systems, processes, and people to deliver it seamlessly.
