EV Component Production Line Install

MEI Received, staged, uncrated, moved, set, anchored, and aligned major EV manufacturing equipment – supported unloading and installation of over 1000 crates of machinery, robotics, conveyors, guarding, and automation components. MEI installed equipment utility connections and provided ongoing support during commissioning and coordinated trucking and logistics for inbound equipment over multiple phases.

Project Highlights & Challenges

This was the first-of-its-kind EV production lines requiring flexible installation sequencing. Work performed during COVID-19 with daily testing and evolving site safety protocols, maintained productivity and collaboration while working as a non-union contractor on a mixed-labor job site. MEI successfully managed scope changes and supported OEMs throughout the year.

Results

MEI’s ability to mobilize quickly, coordinate complex installations, and maintain safe, high-quality execution enabled the successful launch of EV production lines.
